Update Your Aadhaar Card for Free Before December 14, 2023
If you haven’t updated your Aadhaar card in last ten years, you can now do it for free until December 14, 2023. This is a great opportunity to make sure your Aadhaar card is up-to-date and to protect yourself from fraud. This is a big initiative by UIDAI to get their database updated.
To update your Aadhaar card, you can either visit a Permanent Enrolment Centre or use the Self Service Update Portal (SSUP) online. In both the cases, there will be no charge for updation.
Updating Aadhaar Card at Permanent Enrolment Centre

Visit the UIDAI website and click on “Locate Enrolment Center” to find the nearest center to you.

At the center, you will be able to update both your demographic information (name, address, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email) and your biometrics (fingerprints, iris, and photograph).
Updating Aadhaar Card Using the Self Service Update Portal (SSUP)

Visit the UIDAI website and click on “Update Aadhaar Details (Online)”.

You will need to provide the required identity and address proof through the official website.

Once you have submitted your information, you will receive a Service Request Number (SRN). You can use this SRN to track the status of your update.
